Explore the fascinating world of sound and music at our 2-Days Science of Music Camp! Create your own kazoo and witness the magic of vibrations turning into music. Build a kalimba and conduct a water experiment to see how sound travels like a wave. Design a music box, and discover the science behind those beautiful melodies. 

Join us as explorers spark a love for music and science through exciting hands-on activities!

During this 2-Days, 3 hours/day camp, children will complete following projects 

( * indicates that they can bring projects home): 

Day 1 - How Does Sound Travel?

• Create a Stick Kazoo*
• Build a Kalimba*
  • Assemble a kalimba using a wooden board and metal tines and play simple melodies on it.

Day 2 - How Sounds Make Music?

• Water Symphony Experiment
• Build and design a clockwork musical box.

Children will learn about different science and engineering concepts.

A. Explore and understand the fundamentals of sound by exploring sound waves and vibrations

B. Explore how different instruments produce sound and the principles behind their design.

C. Learn about the mechanics of a music box
