End of Year Holiday Program 2025

During this 3 hour workshop, children will complete following projects 

( * indicates that they can bring projects home): 

• Music to My Ears
  • Explore basic physics of sound, musical instrument and even how people respond when they hear music!
• Wind Me Up!*
  • Build and design a clockwork musical box!
• Can a Banana be a Piano?
  • Tinker with a banana piano and understand how it works.
• Ding Ding!*
  • Build and design a kalimba finger instrument*

Children will learn about the following scientific principles behind music

Topics covered: 

A. What are sounds and how they travel

B. Instruments can make different sounds and music!    

C. Understand how a Kalimba work and simple notes
