March Holiday Program 2025

During these 3-hours workshops, children will complete following projects on each day: 

• Day 1: Create Your AI Hero 
  • Explorers design their very own AI character, complete with a name, outlook, mission story. 
  • Learn and understand how AI “thinks” using simple logic models and storytelling.
  • Learn prompt crafting and ethical AI use while showcasing their creativity and self-expression through AI-generated art.

• Day 2: Build Your AI’s World in Minecraft 
  • Explorers bring their AI Hero to life in Minecraft Education. They’ll design a home base, spawn their AI as an NPC (non-playable character), and program simple dialogue to simulate AI behaviour.
  • Learn how to simulate personality and logic in games.
  • Create dialogue choices using if–then thinking

• Day 3: Code Your AI Hero to Respond
  • Explorers code their AI Hero to respond to gestures, sounds, or player actions using Scratch and Google Teachable Machine. They’ll build a mini game or interactive scene to show how their AI “senses” and “acts”.
  • Explorers will be introduced to machine learning and input/output logic with the use of visual coding (Scratch) to create reactions.
  • Learn and understand problem-solving and debugging

• Children need to be equipped with basic IT skills to operate a laptop/computer
• Students will be required to bring the following items: 
  • Laptop
  • Charger
  • Mouse for Laptop
