Electrify: Solar Car

During this 3 hour workshop, children will complete following projects 

( * indicates that they can bring projects home): 

    - Experiment with snap circuits

    - Build and design a solar car*

Children will learn about different science and engineering concepts.  

Topics covered: 

A. Learn about the different components of a circuit, including conductors, insulators, switches, and power sources. 

B. Explore the different types of energy sources: non-renewable and renewable energy.

C. Explore solar panels and understand how it can harness solar energy to generate electricity. 

D. Understand how to implement a solar panel and motor into the car design.
