End of Year Holiday Program 2025

Introducing our EcoVenturers: Sustainability Quest (with Minecraft) series! This program focuses on three different themes each day:  Green Spaces and Urban Biodiversity, The Energy Crisis: Renewable Energies, Waste Management: Clean VS Cleaned Cities. 

Description:

Choose 1, 2 or 3 themes and explore with us! Participants will work together in groups of 2 to 5 and build their virtual communities in Minecraft and create a presentation to share their ideas.

During each 6 hours workshop, children will complete following projects on each day: 

• Day 1: Green Spaces and Urban Biodiversity
  • Discover the wonders of urban farms and green living spaces and find out why they are important for our city!
  • Go on an outdoor nature walk and observe sustainable practices around us.
  • Build different green spaces and an automated farm in Minecraft. 
  • Create presentation slides in your groups and present it with your friends!

• Day 2: The Energy Crisis - Renewable Energies
  • Introduction to Renewable Energy and the application in Singapore. Build a Solar Car and understand solar energy principles and their real-world applications.
  • Build different renewable energies systems in Minecraft. 
  • Create presentation slides in your groups and present it with your friends!

• Day 3: Waste Management - Clean VS Cleaned Cities
  • Learn how waste impacts our world and explore solutions like composting, reducing, and recycling! 
  • Build an upcycled self-watering pot from recycled materials.
  • Build waste management system in Minecraft.
  • Create presentation slides in your groups and present it with your friends!

Important

1. Lunch will be provided.
2. Children need to be equipped with basic IT skills to operate a laptop/computer

Students will be required to bring the following items: 

• Laptop
• Charger 
• Mouse for Laptops  

Necessary Software: Students will be required to have Minecraft: Education Edition Application installed on their device before the start of the camp. They will be given a Minecraft: Education Edition account that will be valid for a year from the start of the camp.

One Day fee: $178/pax

Full Camp Fee: $498/pax (U.P $534)
